  • Students will read quotes from Martin Luther King, Jr. and Malcolm X...
    • choose and explain a favorite quote/stanza.
  • Students will listen to speech excerpts from Martin Luther King, Jr. and Malcolm X...
    • choose and explain a favorite quote/stanza.
  • Students will watch videos relating to the Civil Rights Movement 
    • Freedom Highway
    • Fight the Power (song contains some inappropriate words...I cannot link to it here.)
  • Students will write a comparison to the differing positions of MLK, Jr. and Malcolm X.
  • Students will complete a worksheet as a review for a quiz.
Due Dates...
  • Video/MLK, jr. Malcom X paragraph is due by the end of class Wednesday.
